We will have an exciting week to complete the last part of Term 1.

Grade 4 students will have their regular spelling test and will exchange questions by using: Qui? Oú? Quand? Comment?... (Who, Where, When, How…?); they will be able to answer to those questions by using complete sentences.

Students in Grade 5 won't have a spelling test this week. Instead, they will learn about ancient civilisations and have a test based on irregular verbs: AVOIR / ÊTRE / FAIRE /ALLER. Students should know how to conjugate and apply them in a sentence.

Grade 6 students will learn about past tenses; they will be able to describe and talk about their routines in the past.

SPELLING TEST

Words for the spelling test are written on Mondays at school; students should practice at home by filling up the empty columns in their notebooks.

Normally, on Mondays, students should be taking home their notebooks and their previous test to be signed by one of their parents. Please send their notebooks back as soon as they’re done with their assignments.

A French - English Dictionary is recommended at home.
