Dear St. Jude’s Academy Families;
Bonjour!
As we are all facing new experiences through the current
situation, it is important that we remain in solidarity with our SJA community
by continuing our ongoing learning in French.
Starting on Monday, March 23rd, I will join each
grade to have a short live chat through Discord; from there I will explain how
we will have a live chat on Skype on Tuesdays and Fridays for the two following
weeks. The expectations for every day will be for students to maintain their exposure
to the French language by interacting orally. The same way we used to have our
Ketchup Club, I’m adding some extra hours for individual assistance to go over
previous questions and concerns in French. I will be sending pictures, attachments
and a list of links for further practice in French. In order to do this,
students will be required to have their own Discord and Skype login and have a
notebook or paper, and a pencil or pen ready to either take notes or respond to
a question.
Please note that the Grade 5’s Trip to The Meadowvale Theatre
(on March 31st) has to be canceled; we’re waiting for further notice
to see if it will postpone or we will receive a refund.
